Conservation and Restoration of Stained-Glass Windows Since 1923
Extensive restoration work was carried out on the parish church in Calaf after an unfortunate hailstorm severely damaged one of its stained-glass windows. Originally created in 1903 by the Amigó workshop, it features three lancet windows depicting Saint Calamanda, Saint Michael the Archangel, and Saint Ramón Nonato. The window sustained significant mechanical damage to the glass and was removed for careful conservation work in our workshop. As much of the original material as possible was preserved. The window was reinstalled with protective isothermal glazing to ensure its long-term preservation.
