Calaf
Conservation and restoration of stained glass since 1923

Extensive conservation work was carried out for the parish of Calaf after an unfortunate hail storm severely damaged one of the stained glass windows. It was originally made in 1903 by the Amigó workshop and has three lancets with Saint Calamanda, Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint Raymond Nonnatus. The window suffered extensive mechanical damage to the glass and was removed for careful conservation work in our workshop. As much of the original material as possible was preserved. The window was reinstalled with isothermal protective glazing to prolong its life.
